Biographical Information
Dr. Sarah Racz is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a Research Educator with The First-Year Innovation & Research Experience (FIRE) program, leading the Animal & Human Relationships research stream (faculty leads: Dr. Dr Los Reyes and Dr. Glasper). Dr. Racz received her Ph.D. in child clinical psychology from the University of Washington and completed postdoctoral fellowships at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the National Institute of Child Health & Human Development. Utilizing an ecological approach to developmental psychopathology, her research seeks to understand both the proximal (e.g., parenting, family functioning) and distal (e.g., neighborhoods, schools) influences on child externalizing behaviors. Dr. Racz is also interested in the application of statistical models of change, particularly longitudinal latent variable modeling approaches.
